A visual artist by profession, Mehra loves combining the traditional media such as canvas and acrylic with off-beat materials such as buttons, bobbins and steel metre scale to create his artworks. This includes paintings, installations, and assemblages. Some of his interesting works include an interactive bar code puzzle made from a steel metre scale and an antique telephone made from brass.
