Nearly 100 Alumni gathered in Jaipur to meet old pals and mentors from their alma mater
Jaipur, 1st November 2014: Pearl Academy, India’s leading institute of design, fashion and related businesses organised a gala event ‘Pehchaan’ for its alumni at hotel Ramada in Jaipur today. The Alumni Meet Pehchaan witnessed nearly 100 alumni from various courses at Pearl Academy. These Pearlites are now working successfully in multiple professions in various creative industries including fashion, textiles, jewellery, et al.
Some of the known and upcoming label owners such as Ridhima Godha (Label – Fuschia), Suraj Kathuria (Label – Surraj Kathuria) and Kratika Kukreja (Label – Kratii) among other fashion designers marked their presence at the alumni meet. The Textile Design department faculty was proud and nostalgic to meet its alumni such as Akshita Kaur (working with Ratan Textiles, Jaipur), Srishti Arora (working with Pink Apple, Bangalore), Devika Lamba (working with Raw Mango) and Muskan Badlani (working with Maskara Exports, Mumbai) among other successful and talented Pearlites who are doing extremely well at their professional fronts. Alumni from Jewellery Design department met their friends and teachers and were enjoying together by remembering the good old days of their beautiful academic years at their alma mater.

Hosting the alumni meet, the Director of the Academy, Dr. Veena Dutta said, “There is a bond that we share with our class-mates and teachers which grows stronger as the time passes by. Meeting them again is always delightful. I am glad that we all have gathered here to celebrate such valuable relationships today. Additionally, it makes us even happier to see that how well they are doing in their career. It’s a testimony to our quality teaching and core values that are reflecting in our students’ achievements.”
It was a memorable evening for all the Pearlites and alumni.
