We collaborate with our fellow institutions globally to provide international exposure to our students and vice-versa in terms of knowledge sharing, education practices and cultural/student/faculty exchange. The students from LDT are a part of such initiatives and we shall be witnessing more international students visiting our campus in the future to come.”
Clamens, one of the German students said that, “The workshops here at the Academy are more structured and clearer which allows you to learn better from the mentors, practice the methods right after seeing those and take home the beautiful learning that you will never forget. Today, I was a part of Tie-and Die workshop which I knew already, however, not to that extent. It was a wonderful experience to be a part of it and know it better as well as first hand.”
“It feels so nice to know that we will be taking home all the pieces that we will be working on here. I am really excited that I am learning so many things and I will be showing my work to everybody back at home and my school in Germany.” said Karen, another student from LDT at Pearl’s campus.
The students also got to visit Princess Diya Kumari Foundation Society (NGO), People of Bagru Industry, Ankohi Museum and Karigar Khana to gain insights on the rich culture and heritage of Jaipur city.
At the end of the workshop these international students got the chance to showcase their finished products in the category of Fashion and Jewellery.
