Creativity is boundless and that is why we often ask our students to push themselves and thrust to explore and learn the new. The first year students at our Mumbai campus get a taste of that right from their first year. Below are couple of visits recently made by the students guided by the faculty to give them an open learning environment.
Guided Tour of NCPA, Mumbai
Warm and Welcoming NCPA personnel guided our students in an exclusive tour of all their theaters, telling us about its rich heritage, outstanding features and memorable performances that have been held there over the years. Fun and inspirational, we are sure such sessions widen their horizons and give them a new perspective on things around them.
Opera Appreciation Session, conducted by Mr. Jimmy Bilimoria –
Our Foundation Design students of Mumbai Campus were in for a treat at NCPA when their resident Opera expert and supervisor of NCPA’s exclusive Stuart-Liff Library, Mr. Jimmy Bilimoria took them through the nuances of Opera in a step by step video screening of the famous Opera Nabucco by Giuseppe Verdi.
Offsite Class at Bhau Daji Lad Museum
Making Learning fun was just what our students had in mind during their visit to Bhau Daji Lad Museum, where they were exposed to history, nature and materials in a hands–on way.
