Pearl Academy organized kite-flying event and sky lantern launch for its students and faculty at Jaipur Campus covering city’s sky with colours and lights

 Makar Sankranti and Lohri festivals are celebrated across India in various forms. Pearl Academy, celebrated these festivals at its Kukas campus on 13th January, 2014, by flying kites and lighting wishing sky lanterns spreading a message of hope and prosperity in this New Year.

The Director of Pearl Academy, Jaipur, Mr. Amartya Banerjee said while addressing the students, “These festivals are of great significance and we should adapt their messages in our lives to celebrate them in true sense. They inspire us to be wise, enthusiastic and turn away all darkness from our life and always shine.”

Students enjoyed the day with full enthusiasm in kite flying with their classmates and teachers. The bon fire festival of Lohri was enjoyed by all and everyone danced on Punjabi folk songs. All the students and teachers took pleasure in the warmth of this festival and peanuts, rewri and pop corn were distributed among all as Prasad.   At the end, students flew wishing sky lanterns and made the wish that all the evils vanish from their life and they always walk on the path of virtue and wisdom.
