It was a short but insightful visit for twenty two students of LDT Nagold, Germany, to the Kukas based campus of Pearl Academy, Jaipur, recently. An exclusive workshop – ‘Jewellery by Etching’, was organized for these students by the Jewellery Design Department of the Academy where they learnt the art of creating patterns on metal by ‘Acid Etching Technique’.

All the students participated enthusiastically and were given inputs of each step involved in converting their imaginations into etched art. The metal pieces were converted into beautiful pieces of adornment by stringing it with thread and wooden beads.

Best pieces were awarded merit certificates by the campus director, Mr. Amartya Banerjee. And, participation Certificates were given to all the participants. The faculty and students of Pearl Academy enjoyed the workshop thoroughly and gelled-up with the guest students to make them feel at home.
