Design is about prediction, creation and presentation of fashion. The design students of Pearl Academy are specially trained to solve problems and undertake explorations relating to latest technology, raw materials and processes to develop creative collections.

The learning, toile, trials and tribulations culminate at the annual ramp presentation PORTFOLIO.

This final presentation is an integration of learning that the students imbibe during their education at the academy. Though the media of colors, materials, finishes and techniques, students express individual statements as design solutions.

PORTFOLIO marks the entry of PA students into the professional world and has emerged as one of the most prestigious ramp presentations in India.

The students of B.A (Honors) Degree in Fashion Design 2008-12 and Post Graduate Diploma in Fashion Design 2010-12 are presenting their final design collections at PORTFOLIO 2012.

The show is an outcome of the final design project that takes them through the process of expressing any design issue supported with a colloquium paper, concept development had realization of creative ideas with innovate techniques.

The design collection on the ramp will introduce individual interpretations of the concept, effective use of craft in fashion, play with forms, color and textures and market oriented ready to wear collections.

An eminent jury made up of fashion designers, fashion media personnel and industry experts are invited to evaluate the collections for the awards. The awards are in the following category :
