Annual graduating event by Pearl Academy Jaipur showcased awe-inspiring collections from the students of Fashion, Textile and Jewellery Design courses
Pearl Academy, India’s leading institute for design, fashion and related business courses, organized its annual graduating event – Portfolio 2014 at hotel Clarks Amer in Jaipur today. The magnificent graduation event was inaugurated by esteemed Chief Guest Princess Diya Kumari, Mr. Sharad Mehra, CEO, Pearl Academy, and Dr. Veena Dutta, Director-Jaipur, Pearl Academy.
Extensive works done by more than 60 students from graduating batches across domains of textile, fashion and jewellery design were showcased at the venue. While a splendid exhibition displaying exquisite work by students of Textile Design earned applause from the guests, well-known models such as Purva Rana, Krishna Somani, Donna Masih, et al presented breath-taking couture and jewellery collections by fashion design and jewellery design courses’ students.
Appreciating the brilliant work displayed by students, Princess Diya Kumari said, “These students are extremely talented. Some of the projects are really interesting which shows the hard work done by Pearlites. I wish them all the very best for their future endeavours and congratulate Pearl Academy for bringing together all this creativity through PORTFOLIO.”

The event witnessed some of the well known names such as fashion designer Rohit Kamra, Swati Vijaywargiya (Owner-Rang), Pankaj Lila (Owner-Lila’s Saree Fashion), Vaibhav Dhadda (Owner-S.J. Jewels) and Rashmi Bhardwaj from Ratan Textiles among many others from the industry.
