Unplugged Kanan, Heartthrob Mustafa and Break-free Sunburn Campus at Pearl Utsav’15

College is one of the most exciting and important phases in anyone’s life. During this period, a student comes across several experiences, and learns new things. One of such experiences is college festival which is not just for fun but adds value to a student’s academic life.

We along with our students support recently organized our annual inter-college fest – Pearl Utsav, at Talkatora Stadium which witnessed over 2700 students from more than 30 colleges competing in a spectrum of events and enjoying various performances at the fest.

The day began with Inter-collegiate competitions in Music, Photography, Fashion Parade, Dance and Drama. The celebrated stand-up comedian Kanan Gill enthralled the audience and took the fest forward later in the evening. Artist Mustafa Zahid of the Roxen Band followed Gill delivering a spectacular musical performance. The evening went fiery when Sunburn Campus played music and the gathering could no longer resist dancing.

The day was well planned by the PlanClan, student body of the Academy, and the execution was flawless coupled with great zeal and fervor from participants. The attendees included students from colleges all over Delhi/NCR and the neighbouring areas such as Guru Gobind Singh College, JIMS, Jindal Global Law School, Bhartiya Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Shri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Daulat Ram College, Ramjas College, IGDTU, Guru Teg Bahadur College, Venkateshwar College and Guru Gobind Singh College among others. The event offered the participants an opportunity to exchange ideas and display their talent on a bigger platform. The winners of competition were rewarded generously; list of winners is as follows:
