One week is a short time, but even in such a short time, Pearlites don’t fail to amaze. Here are some of the happenings from the  past week which have made us really proud and have allowed us to keep our head held high in admiration and awe.

Kriti Tula’s brainchild- Doodlage featured in DNA

kriti tulaAlumna Kriti Tula is achieving great heights with her own eco label- Doodlage. Her story of bringing old clothes to life with ‘upcycle fashion’ was recently featured in DNA. Kriti is all geared up to work at the Lakme Fashion week later this month, we wish her the very best for all her future endeavours.

Sakshi Gupta launches her creation at the Vogue Wedding Show

sakshi guptaBig ideas and important designs should never go unnoticed, and our students make sure that they don’t. Sakshi Gupta, FMRM Level 1 student, launched her self-designed jewelry organizer at the Vogue wedding show in collaboration with Swarovski. The aesthetically designed jewellery box is crafted to help Indian Brides organize their jewelry. We congratulate Sakshi and her brother for their amazing achievement.

 

Master Classes from the Masters Themselves

Students with designer SabhyasachiValuable lessons can be learnt anywhere, but it can’t get better than learning from the masters themselves. Students from Professional Diploma in PR & Events visited the Vogue Wedding show and attended a class with Anahita Shroff Adjania (Vogue India’s Fashion Director) and another one with designer Sabhyasachi Mukherjee, Forever mark’s Sachin Jain and Vogue India’s Fashion feature Director Bandana Tiwari. The lessons were very informative and the students were thrilled about the whole experience.

 

Avani Juneja bags an internship at Harper’s Bazaar, UK

avani junejaHard work always pays off, no matter where you are, no matter what you are doing. FSID student, Avani Juneja who had won an award for her graduation project at Portfolio 2015 bagged an internship at Harper’s Bazaar UK. The internship will convert into a full-fledged job after the three month period. She has yet again made us proud and we are happy that she is doing great things in her life and following her dream.

 

Once again we would like to congratulate the above mentioned on the great feats they have achieved and hope they never stop making us proud.
