Today while the audiences were witnessing some great talent at the venue, Pearl Academy launched two new courses just before Amit Aggarwal’s show. UG and PG programs in Indian Couture and Fashion & Lifestyle E-commerce  were announced by the industry stalwarts like JJ Valaya(a prominent Indian Fashion Designer), Sunil Sethi(President of FDCI) along with our CEO, Mr.Sharad Mehra . After a lot of research within the industry, a vital need for professionals in these areas was observed along with an evident scope of job opportunities in coming years, and hence the need of such courses in the market to develop and nurture such experts.

“it is interesting how the bulk of the market offers Indian aesthetics however none of the colleges offer a professional course, and after a lot research and market study it is evident that there will be around 15,000 job openings within the next 5 years for professionals in E-Commerce.”, as were the words of Sharad Mehra.

We also had students from our Jaipur campus and LDT Nagold, Germany as a part of this grand launch. Overall, it was a great opportunity for students to interact with Sunil Sethi and JJ Valaya and it was overwhelming to see their excitement as we launched these much-needed courses.

The evening was then followed by Amit Aggarwal’s amazing show. Different silhouettes with the mix of materials like straws and Organdy fabric created a spectacular show with brilliant choreography and music.

Later in the evening, Abraham andThakore’s collection was a pure take on how black was going to be the color of 2015, the impeccable mix of Indian and western couture. His patchwork, fine use of zips and embellishments were more than complimentary and a treat to the eyes for many.
